The Work Package 2 Report: Artistic Contributions was developed as part of the project (In)Visible Traces. Artistic Memories of the Cold War. The report presents an overview of the activities and artistic work carried out during 2024–2025 within WP2.
Work Package 2 focused on artistic mobility and research-based artistic practice, supporting artists in engaging with Cold War heritage in contemporary ways. Through open calls, study visits, international residencies, and artistic interventions, artists explored historical sites, personal stories, and public spaces connected to the Cold War. The report documents these processes and presents the artistic outcomes that emerged from this work.

The report brings together these experiences and presents the artworks that came out of them. Some works are very personal, based on family memories. Others look at public spaces, political history, or collective experiences. Together, they show different ways of remembering the Cold War and thinking about how the past still shapes our lives today.
