Workshop: Become a Researcher — Explore the History of Zagreb under the Ustaša Regime through the Stories of Eyewitnesses

Are you a young person aged 18 to 35 (older participants are not excluded)?
Are you interested in what everyday life in Zagreb looked like during the Second World War?
Do you want to learn more about the establishment of the system of terror in the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) through the stories of eyewitnesses?
And reflect together with your peers on how to appropriately and inclusively memorialize sites of suffering and preserve the memory of the victims?

If yes — join us for an interactive workshop at the Human Rights House (Selska cesta 112C) on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, from 5 PM, and discover the answers to these and many other questions we will explore.

The workshop will be led by Tena Banjeglav.
Expected duration: 1.5 hours.
